Paula Grimes-Butler, REALTOR®
Paula was born and raised in Grand Falls-Windsor and is no stranger to the Real Estate industry. Growing up her father, the late Owen Grimes, Realtor/Broker of Owen Grimes Realty, would often take her on appointments and she feels she learned from one of the very best, if not the best the industry has ever seen. When working with clients she will often ask herself, “What would Owen do? (WWOD?), and because of that she always offers top notch service to each and everyone of her clients, hoping to live up to same level of service her father offered his clients.
After graduating Paula pursued a Bachelor of Arts (French/Linguistics) and a Bachelor of Education Secondary from Memorial University of Newfoundland & Labrador. After convocation, Paula began her teaching career as a French Immersion Teacher at Amalgamated Academy in Bay Roberts. From there Paula taught in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and various communities in Central NL for many years before finally making the transition to full time Realtor in 2019 with Century 21 Exploits Realty Inc.
As a teacher, Paula learned how to be patient, detail oriented, proactive and an advocate for her students. As your Realtor® she will show patience, pay close attention to detail, and will always advocate for you, whether you are buying or selling, and she will work tirelessly to ensure your best interests are always at the forefront. Buying or selling a home can be stressful and as a fulltime Real Estate agent Paula will work tirelessly to lower your stress level and make your experience as enjoyable as possible. Accessibility and communication are key, and she provides both to her clients both during the transaction and after.
When not assisting clients, Paula enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering, crafting, and reading. She is the mother to two beautiful daughters Kaileigh and Adrianna.
Paula currently sits on NLAR (Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Realtors®) Board of Directors as the Central Regional Director and hopes to continue her work with NLAR well into the future. She is also a member of the Realtors Care® Committee.
